I am not sure if I am spelling it right, but I was at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago, there was some beautiful fabric - when I asked if it was cotton, the lady bark cloth (it was a loose weave) - to be used in curtains

What is the difference between bark cloth and Homespun fabric?

Bark cloth usually has a somewhat rough texture to it's weaving. And the patterns are always printed on. Homespun is softer like a shirt material. And they are almost always stripes or plaids and they are woven in designs. HTH
