I unearthed these three blocks and extra fabric and can't remember what block pattern they are. Can anyone help? I kind of recall a set-in seam, but I may be dreaming. They are 9" blocks when finished.

Thanks in advance! Next time I'll keep the pattern with the UFO!

I have made this block don't remember the name but do remember partial seams to make it. I am looking through my "block" books.

Looks like flying geese units around a square. Something twirly comes to mind about the name. I'll mosey through BlockBase and see if I can find it.

BellaBoo 06-07-2009 06:33 AM

BlockBase is not very searchable if you don't have a clue to a block name. The closest I can find like your block pattern is called Flying Bats.

Patrice wins the prize! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was thinking, what could I do with three measly blocks? The name even sounds familiar now! I'm such a ditz sometimes!

no magic. it was one of our BsOM in 2007. i remembered making it, so i looked in my EQ file for the name and source. (it also helped that i didn't make the last few blocks for my 07 top until a month or so ago. so, it wasn't that far back in my memory drawer yet. )
