I know - I always thought you had to use the same wt in top and bottom until an Aurifil dealer talked to our quilt guild.

Me too! I have used Mettler before for a project and a verigated King Tut (on sale) for another project. But I've been happy with connecting threads' thread.

The only thread I use is Connecting threads.Just love it. Yesterday I received all the new colors so I have all their colors and the colors that were discontinued the last 2 times.[Plus the variegated thread that they no longer have].I am a happy girl. Now I have to rearrange my plastic drawers for them. Plus I have a drawer full of extra spools[backups] Sure was nice to get $100.00 worth of gift cards for Christmas!
