15 yards of fabric. I have 6 pieces from the same collection and each piece is 2.5 yards, for a total o 15 yards.

The fabric was on sale for 2.00 per yard, it is Windham Helena, not the most beautiful fabric, but I think it could work into something really nice.

Ideas? Oh, and here is the Baum website that shows the collection, I have 28484-1, 28477-5, 28479-1, 28479-3, 28485-3, 28479-2. Why did I buy it? I don't have a clue, I bought it over a year ago. Here is the link

do you want something simple or detailed

That would work great for a '30s quilt...
Just plain ole traditional blocks..

Is second working it in for 30 quilts or backing.

30's quilt or even a log cabin would work....

I like the idea of a log cabin, and I really like the pattern that accompanies the collection: http://www.baumtextile.com/images/pr...star_quilt.pdf
You'd end up with some leftovers and/or you'd have to supplement with similar tones from your stash, but this looks like a gorgeous quilt.
I actually really like the fabric you purchased. If you decide you don't like it well enough to do a quilt, I'm sure you'd have no trouble selling it on the classifieds area.
Good luck and happy quilting!
