It's really cute -- I'm using "Love is in the Air"

=)

I would love to follow also, and do, but beyond the assembling of the materials, I can't seem to find anything to follow....

The pattern was super easy! It was one layer cake, and a little bit of yardage (for the stars). It came from this book. Its is a fantastic book for the Moda Precuts.

The Moda Bake Shop is also a great place to find free patterns for Precuts...

I just borrowed a pattern from a quilting friend and it uses a charm pack and a layer cake. It is called five and tens. It is easy - or should be easy :) You sew the charm pack together to make a pieced square 5 blocks by 5 blocks. you put that on point with a companion print and then put a 3" border around that. You chop the layer cake up and piece it together to make a second border that is 10" wide (the size of the layer cake). Add a third border and you are done!!!!

Like I said should be relatively easy but I have had all sorts of problems lately. I even messed up simple borders the other day.

Thanks for the folded star link. I just had knee surgery and am chomping at the bit to get back to quilting, but can't quite yet. I managed to cut a 10 inch square and try this folded star. It's pretty neat!! I would put in a picture, but mine turned out just like the picture in the tutorial. My block turned out 6 1/4 inches and could be trimmed to 6 inches to pair up with other 6 inch unfinished blocks. My husband asks what I'm going to use it for ----- I'm thinking!! LOL
