what color sashing?
 

Someone that had posted a fcharms quilt said next time she would cut the sashing to 2 so I was thinking about cutting my sqs 6 inch and use the 2 inch sash to make it go a little quicker.
I`ve had this in my sash was thinking I could make it up fr a rffle quilt fo grs swim team.
There is lots of color dots similar but one the same is drk purple.
I don`t want to use white.

Go for the purple if you have it, I also think that red would look good.

IMHO, not everyone loves purple (have a friend who has voiced this more than once).

How about a dark blue (blue is also the color of water) Just a suggestion.

There seems to be a brown/tan or even a dark green fabric on both fabrics. I would go with a color that is reasonably close in both fabrics to give a unity to the quilt.

Thanks all after cutting the blue I had enough sqs so think I`ll use the green on the back or a border.
I think I`ll go wit the gold if I don`t chnge my mind when I et to the qilt store tomorrow. Lol

I think dark green. That would make the top with swimming and camping look like it is in the forest surrounded by green trees

was thinking green too. well I only got 27 sqs and needed 30, so now do I cut into the green or throw in 3 odd balls?

I love the idea of the dark purple! Or possible a dark forest green?
