So with a colorful top like this, what color thread should I use to quilt it? Should I change color for every section?
Thanks |

I would use a neutral ecru.

You match the backing? Don't that cover up the design of front?

I see lots of orange - except in the white area - I'd change to a white thread for that area.
|
Don't know how much work it would be, but I say go bold and use contrasting color thread for each section.

By the way, to answer your question, you can change with each block row and it wouldn't be that big of a deal. For instance, for the Browns fabric use a brown or an orange, for the Tribe fabric use a navy , the golf bags --a green.
Your quilt design would be easy to quilt by sections of color/ fabric. |
i would use a variagated thread for the dark and probably change color for the light section.
