Okay, I admit it. I made my first ugly lap size quilt. Not quite sure what I did wrong. I liked the colors in my last quilt, so I used the scraps for this one. Did I hear someone ask to see a pic? Not a chance!
I know sooner or later a quilt is not going to turn out as imagined, so what did you do with yours? |
Let my kids make a camp with it in their cubby.

I have one that I don't care for. It was a kit and there isn't enough variety of colors/scale, so it's very blah. I think some applique will spice it up, but for now, it's on the bottom of the pile. I've got prettier things screaming for my attention.

I gave it to the friend that ooh'd and aah'd over it!

Donate it to charity.

I have a very ugly one that I can't bring myself to finish. it has the backing on it only I did it wrong. I made more of a pillow case out of it. no batting in it yet. just can't seem to finish it. I even did some hand embroidery on it. It was the first one that I have ever started to make. here is a pic of it.
the green strip is also the backing. makes me dizzy looking at it. |
I have a friend that runs a rescue. She is also a quilter and designs patterns, so she understands and can use them for their rescues, especially abused animals.
