I replaced the flourescent bulbs in my sewing room lamps with led bulbs equivalent to a 100 watt and 60 watt bulbs. Found them at WalMart for a better price than anywhere else. Because they are a cooler white (daylight), colors are true and it's so much easier to see what I am doing. I can use a brighter bulb in the lamps because the leds use so much less power and I save on the electric bill. Win-win! :-)

I bought 2 new ottlites online at Joann's black friday sale. I've noticed that parts of my sewing room that used to be bright enough aren't any more. Oh, the joys of getting older.

I need to get a better light around my machine. You've convinced me now!

You mean we're the ones paying the bill. I'd rather pay for what I want than have to make do with what someone else thinks I want.
