What to do with panda fabric.
My panda fabric came. And now I'm trying to decide what to do with it without cutting it much. I'm thinking of a wall hanging of some kind, yes, just for me :-).
Soooo I came here once again for some brainstorming on quilts that use big pieces of this fabric. So, so cute and great at emulating the zoo pandas. I want to see it in a quilt. Ideas? The fabric: http://elizabethsstudio.net/cgi-bin/...=59&Page=1&v=1 |
Cute fabric! Perhaps do an easy pattern that uses this fabric in big pieces to show off the bears. Maybe find some fabric with bamboo too. I'd stick with black & white, green, and little bits of pink if needed. (Pink is in the flowers).

Use it as the focus fabric in Warm wishes or similar. Use cream/black or green for the strip blocks.

Just frame it with borders.

I would go with "The Craftsman"

BTW, the repeat is 12" high by 24" wide. I love the big piece idea, but wonder if it would get too repetitive with the fairly small repeat..
Maybe I shouldn't have gotten 2 yards. A 12" x 24" piece as table runner with some blocks around would be nice ;-). Keep the ideas coming, please. Thank you. |
