It would make a cool border for a quilt or wallhanging for a special person or commemorating a special place or event. Fussycut along the lines of the words....and only use certain words if you like, separated by solid fabrics.

OBW

binding or backing

I was given this fabric from someone slashing their stash...not exactly something I would have purchased, but hey I have it now so I might as well find something to do with it...

Tote bag for a Tween/Teen

Bonnie Hunter says that if you have a fabric you just don't like you should cut it up. If you still don't like it you just haven't cut it small enough. LOL!

I'd make a teen charity quilt from it and use the fabric for a border. Kids love wordy things...probably why the text so much.

I wouldn't do a thing to it. I'd add borders of primary colors until it was big enough for a lap or twin.. Then quilt it all over and bind with one of the colors. Any tween would love it!

what does OBW mean? (sorry still new to all the sayings and lingo)

I agree..it would make a fun tote bag! :-)

It would make great additions to I spy quilts also.

Graffiti quilt - would work great in an attic window with wild colors for the window frame.

It's a quilt with lots of different items in it, you can play the I Spy game trying to find the different things in the quilt. Do a search here on the board for I SPY and you will see some pics and get a great idea. Maybe you will become a convert!! They are great fun to make.

IrelandDragonQuilting 02-26-2011 03:42 PM

Looks almost like a skaters fabric, if you know anyone who skateboards it would make a cool quilt or wallhanging perhaps.?
