I go sew with my treadle machine, its virtually silent, so it disturbs nobody's sleep.

I'm like sueisallaboutquilts, I never wake up, unless my kids are out or my granddaughter makes noise in the night, her room is close to ours, but if I did I would probably watch TV or do some hand work, its a small house

If I don't go to sleep in 30-40 min. I get up, go to a quiet place, no TV,radio & write a letter about what is going on, plans for things I want/need to do, express good or negative thoughts & feelings. This frequently clears my mind of a lot of thinking, puts things in order. Other times I read. Carlene

I am a night owl, anyways...I usually quilt...or will catch up on my emails, and here on the quilting board...I sometimes will lay in bed and read...but I don't want to keep my dh awake. We have adjustable beds, pushed together...and he said he never is bothered by my movements. I find that hard to believe, as I can tell when he gets up/down...I think he is just being his usual nice self..after 28+ years of marriage I would think he may sometimes want to say, "Will you please be still??"..lol...ah well, good thing he is nicer than I am...mostly... :-)
