carrying your blocks with you when you travel or go out and want to use them. (like when waiting at a Dr office?)
I prefer something that would allow them to lay flat and not fall to the bottom of a bag/box (like when I use my art bin box). This was they won't get wrinkled.

I saw a lady with one this weekend, that had a elastic strap to hold the blocks in place. (thoughtit was a great idea and then didn't even ask her about it! UGH! )

Any suggestions/ideas would be great. thanks.

I use a clipboard , not the weak clasp one, one that has a strong metal clip. It fits in a tote and holds a lot of blocks, even holds a small sewing bag.

Not for travel, but to keep qult blocks in before I sew them all together a quilt top, I use a set of stacking 12" square plastic boxes made for storing Christmas ornaments, that I got at a garage sale for $1
Each box is about 5" tall, and is the lid for the one underneath. The stack of 4 boxes has a lid with a handle in the top box.
I put the blocks in one, and pieces for the other blocks in process in the one under it, so I can keep 2 projects all contained.

Those 2 gallon ziplock Freezer bags work pretty well also.
