Can't help you with the scraps as I have multiples to work with and don't seem to.

You can send them to Rhonda. She uses those small HSTs for her keychains and such.
When I have many of them do sew, then I sew the first line on the diagonal. Instead of trimming the excess, I draw a second line 1/2" into the leftover square and sew on it. Now when I trim the piece, the HST is already sewn and only needs to be pressed open. |
I sew them together. and they become part of my Mile-a-Minute blocks

Thanks Mad! LOL I would love to have them! I take any scraps because I am a miniaturist and can use anything down to 3/4"..
but here is my suggestion Try my cut down methods with your triangles. My Boston blocks would be perfect for this http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...-t38879-2.html You can easily use the triangles in place of the rectangles I show as you will cut the square out of the center and it won't matter if you start with rectangles or triangles. Triangles actually will have less leftovers than the rectangles. |

You could sew two together for headers & enders. BTW... your kitty is too cute AND funny!

If they are too small to piece, you could save them for stuffing. Or use them as "leaders" for chain piecing, so you don't forget which end goes first.
