I've already got a serger set up, so I'll have to choose between the two. Perhaps I'll actually try my hand at machine embroidery now! :lol:

If it's not that old, I would take it in to a repair shop. When did you have it last serviced? Buy a new machine? LOL

You've probably checked this already, but is there thread wrapped UNDER the disc the bobbin sits on? On my UTL if any thread gets caught up in there it will not wind. Are you getting any kind of error message?

Make sure thread is feeding through everything. I had thread caught in the little grooves on the spool and that was stopping everything but the motor humming.

Uhhhhh....so, the tension seems to be messed up too. Still sews but instead of having the tension down @ 3, it's up to 7-8 to have even stitches.....

Serviced? What's that? :lol:

I think I paid $150 or something for this machine...I bet just to look at it will be as much, you think?

Looks like I'm dusting off my "new" machine and giving it a go!
