when my sewing room had carpet i used a small shop vac that i kept in my sewing room., but now that i have hardwood floors i just use a broom and dust pan it is so much easier

I use the crevis tool that came with my upright firt to get all the threads, then vac. ;-)

Despise carpet! Like socks one only washes twice per year, a jungle of filth, IMO. I use a separate hand held vac for my sewing room, dust and vacuum whole floor less often. It gets less traffic and no food, so it stays cleaner :)

I use a shop vac all the time, not only in my sewing room, but when I do heavy cleaning around the house. The suction is great.

I have hardwood so a dust mop works great. My issue is that the thread builds up on the wheels of my chair - what do you do about that?

I use my vacuum on the carpet and tile areas.

I use my regular vacuum but when I am sewing I try to keep
on my threads in one place until I get done or sit the waste basket beside me. |
I use a shop vac. It picks up everything.
