I was following a thread that I last read about two hours ago. When I came back, it says "Locked" under the topic head. What does that mean? I tried to find it in the format rules, and then noticed what I was reading there also said "Locked."

I am just wondering what it means.

it means you can no longer respond to it. The moderators lock it.

Okay, thanks. I appreciate knowing, and I always learn so much here.

Many times the moderators lock it up b/c a subject gets talked to death or people start to get testy
It's really a good thing.

Thanks for the question and answer, I was wondering that also.

Learning something new every day.

And some topics are locked so no one can post on ADmin's or Moderators rules. Safety thing.
