T-shirt quilts....it's getting closer to graduation, and I'm piecing one and have a couple more to quilt for customers. After that....probably one of several UFOs that I promised myself I'd finish this year :)

I'm in the middle of sewing 25 pillow cases, for the military service men/women. I went to Moline, Ill, last Tuesday, to my sewing group. We do different sewing item for different group's. The group I'm in, is just called "sewing angel's". I usually bring stuff home with me, from my group, and work on stuff, here at home. The next thing, I'm going to start is a Dble wedding ring quilt top, for my son and his wife. I have 3 more quilts, to make for my grand kids, but I'll put them on the back burner, or so. Or work on everything here and there.
Hey, tell me more about the pillowcases for the military. Wouldn't mind doing a couple dozen. Thanks |

I'm here in MN we have a snowday today so no work-get to stay home and work on my quilts-horray!!!!!!!!!!! I'm working on a 10x10 squares with 2 1/2 inch sash between the squares, the colors are teal, black, grey and white squares with gold for the sash and a 4 inch strip of white and 4 inch strip of black all around the quilt. I want to use plaine grey for the back. Got as far as putting the batting inside-that's enough for today. Back to work on Friday.
Our schools are on a snow day, too. One they didn't have to use thru the winter. |
I am working on a paper pieced Kimono quilt. Just made unit D 3 times. I only need one unit D and a unit C. So I am taking a break and hope I have enough fabric to make a unit C. Maybe I should drink when I paper piece????:o)

I am starting a Chateau Chambray quilt this week. Just got the fabrics, and they are gorgeous! I will start cutting soon.

Working on an Hour glass quilt. Making small cell phone purses and putting the binding on a scrappy quilt. Just finished carpenters star and its ready to be quilted.

I am hand quilting a couple of small quilts for a customer, also have a small "tiny-piece" table runner to put together.
