I have to take my kids everywhere I go. Believe me, making them keep busy in a quilt shop while I do lessons is not a good idea. lol. My husband works every day but sunday so that's not an option either. I either learn online or I'll learn when my kids are older.

button hole maker only know my viking has it, not used it though

yup, its a buttonhole maker. You can select the style, stitch width, etc and size of the buttonhole on your touch screen, and it will make exact replica's of that one - over and over, so all of your buttonholes on that particular project will be the same. It really is cool. :thumbup:

That foot came with my Viking 870 Quilt. I thought it was strange that a "quilt" machine came with a buttonhole foot but not a walking or free motion hopping foot. I've never used the buttonhole foot.
