What 'games' do you play to make quilting even more fun?

What do you do to add to quilting experience?
Here's a couple of things that I do.

1. Two of my sisters quilt and both live in Michigan. When we get together we get to go through each others stashes and pick what we want. However the person with the stash gets to sneak in one piece of fabric that they think is hideous and the challenge is that the receiver has to make something with it before we get together again and send pictures to the original owner.

2. There's about 12 quilters that gather on a regular basis (once a month) for a retreat at Threads of Time in Danville, Il. While we're apart we scrounge for small things to put in goodie bags. Things like small first aid kits, HF blades, note pads, sticky notes, pencil boxes for rotary cutters, pens, pencils, etc., whatever we can find on good sales or clearanced. Then we divide everything into gift bags and have door prize drawings during our retreats.

Thank you but I was really hoping to find some new ones too. Don't you have anything to add? ;-)

I've never played any quilting games, but your #1 sounds like a ton of fun. I know when my Mom comes to visit, she always comes with her quilting projects to show me. She always seems to leave my house with lots of my stash. I don't mind sharing. I love to watch her go thru my fabric and ohh and awe. She won't cut hers up cuz it "too pretty". But I must say, she did a batik quilt, and I gladly let her go thru my stash, and you know what - I got that quilt for Christmas that year.Sometimes it just pays to let Mom have what she wants.
