I like the pinmoors. My pins were always falling out and being pulled out by the cats and the pinmoors helps hold everything together better for me. They're well worth the cost to me but different people have different methods that work for them.

I always check Nancy's Notions when I'm in the market for things like that. She has a lot of things I don't find
other places easily & gives wonderful, fast service. Good luck with your hunt!

I tried all the alternatives to Pinmoors. Some of them worked okay but not great. I thought why am I wasting money trying things that I want to work like a Pinmoor when I can just buy the Pinmoors. They won't wear out so really the cost of a package is a one time buy. I buy them when they go on sale on the website. Their Facebook page posts all sales to my Facebook page. I use them whenever I use a pin. No more pricks. I hate pin pricks.

I don't like them at all. Plus they're far too expensive. I'd rather put my quilts together almost any other way. Since I have found the 3M respirators to cover my nose and mouth (COPD) (cudos to someone on this board for steering me to them) I spray baste my quilts now and love it. Whatever floats your boat, I guess (as 'they' say!) :-)

I also have COPD and would love to know more about the respirators
