What a lovely child to recognize the gift her grandparents gave her.

that is such a touching story. My neighbors just lost their home, both cars and 3 dogs in terrible fire. It is just devastating. I am going to give them my current quilt in progress. It will not make up for the loss, but i hope it will provide a bright note in a tough time.

Thank you so much for sharing this heartfelt story. My DH happened to walk in on me while I elastic blowing my nose & asked why I was crying. I read your post, and he just nodded (he got choked up, too.) Nice quilt.

I remember what it's like to move 1000 miles away from home and family. I've been there and done that. What a special story you have. Thank the Good Lord the trauma of the fire did not result in Lily's loss! "Made with Love" is everything!
