Sadly, I found a young bird that got a thread wound around it's little leg. It got caught in the nest and was unable to get free. It was too late for the little bird, but I don't throw the scraps to the birds anymore.

I did it last year, and had a chuckle. My DH said, We may have the only house in miles that have birds nest the color of the rainbow
