A Jacqueline De Jonge quilt and then hand quilt it.
|
Dear Jane in kingsize, all by hand and quilted by hand too. With that I'd be here till I'm 142.
|
It would have to be a carpenters star done in purples and turquoise.

Oh that's a hard one ... probably a Baltimore Album quilt, always wanted to do one
Or one of Judy Niemeyers sp? amazing patterns or Karen Stone's ... love them both & would keep me busy for a LOOOONNG time !! |
Dear Jane would be my choice. Joined this board after it was started.

One of these days, going to tackle a Baltimore Album quilt . . .and no plans to go 'til it's done :)

I would do a grandmothers flower garden. My mother has one that my grandmother made laying on the flat of her back in a Tuberculosis sanitorium back in the 30's. It is perfect. I don't think I have the patience to do it by hand. I bought the book "Not your grandmothers flower garden" book by Marci Baker..the whole thing is strip peiced.
I love lots of other modern quilts..but..I think flower garden takes over the top of the list. Peace and Blessings |
As it was a popular choice I googled Baltimore Album quilt to see what it was like.
That is totally out of my league!! Very talented quilters on this board. |
Where are you in Ontario, I'm in Perth, about one hour west of Ottawa! Been here only five years, the rest of my life in Niagara!
