Is this what I'm supposed to use for my glue bottle? (Applicator tip)

...or is there some other 'generic' item that will work just as well?

sure these will work

I just use the tip that comes on the bottle - I hadn't thought that I needed an additional tip.
|
I don't use a different tip either. I know many people do use ones like you've shown, but I just use the tip on the bottle and so far so good.

Shoot, that's not what I wanted to put there. I meant to edit that post. Those were for glue syringes...
THESE are the two items that I found that I think are what I need? https://www.jeannesullivandesign.com...ue-applicators http://www.gauntindustries.com/Kits-...sting_Kit.html |
I got mine at michaels. You can just use the tip that came on the bottle if you want.
|
I use the tip on the bottle--just open it enough to get a thin line out.

A lot of them don't work very well. I haven't tried these yet, but they are the current versions that Sharon Schamber sells (via her dd's Purple Daisies website):
http://www.purpledaisiesllc.com/Glui...plies_s/72.htm Scroll down to the plastic glue tips. A lot of the other tips, such as the ones you listed, are too fine for the thickness of the glue and clog up easily (and are difficult to clean). This has been my major battle with them. Which is why I invested in the above tips, but haven't used them yet to give a report. They should work better, though, because they are tapered tips instead of a long thin cylinder. |
I too just use the tip on the glue bottle. Works well for me.
