Is not to be afraid to try new quilting patterns. For YEARS I have only meandered, traced patterns from by quilting CDs, or S I D. But after seeing these beautiful quilting patterns on varioius quilts, I am now inspired to spread my wings and try different free motion quilting patterns. Oh how I wish I didn't have to go to work this week.

Don't you just love this board for that reason. Talk about inspiration! And you wouldn't believe how many times I've had that thought about not having to go to work because of stuff I've wanted to do instead that came from this board! What a fantastic resource all of these awesome quilters are and their willingness to share what they know. We're blessed!

So true! I've learned too many things to list but the most important one is to try new things. And the saying it's my quilt and I can do what I want with it has freed me to be more creative.

I've been inspired to try new things from this board too! Good luck with spreading you wings with FMQ! I have done the same recently with pretty decent results. It is nice to know that others are in the same boat- let us know how you do!
