I was visiting a store recently where some folks were raving about the fork pins which I was unaware of. So it got me thinking about what kind of pins people use for piecing. If you have used fork pins what do you think of them? They seem to be pricier than regular pins but may be they are worth it.

Hmmmm....... I don't know what those are but I'm confused. Do you mean for hand piecing or hand quilting??

go to the top of this page - click on search - then type in fork pins - several topics will show up.

I love the forked pins. I had never heard of them until I went to a quilt class and someone had me try them. I bought a box before I left the shop.

I like how thin they are and they are very sharp!

I would love to have the fork pins. Seems like they would be perfect for lining up seams.

I never heard of fork pins, but I use the yellow flower heads pins

The fork pins are awesome for pinning both seams at the same time when you are piecing a quilt! Keeps everything where it belongs and those seams matched.

I have been using the flower head pins but after checking the fork pins out I would very much like to have some of those too. Hmmm...good stocking stuffer...will put that on my list!!
