I have several I use. I have up until yesterday, used my Juki. I also have a Brothers 1500se that I like to use. I am going to try my hand at this older machine that I just pulled up the Singer 247. It is on the list to be tried out in the next several days.

I use my Janome 8900, even though I have a Janome 15000. It all in what we get used to. Had my 8900 first. I was so impressed with this machine....heard that it was great with FMQ....when I got it, opened the box read the FMQ instructions, Didn't change the needle that came with it....put the thread on and away I went with my test sandwich.....Never have had any issues with it.

Thus far, it's been a Janome 7700 and I've done up to a 96 x 96 inch quilt on it. I've only done one larger quilt and that one I rented time on a longarm to do.

I have yet to bond with fmq, I do not think it likes me.

I use my Janome Professional Memory Craft 6600. I quilt all sizes. My machine has a 9" harp space so that helps. My project now that I am waiting till I figure what I want to put on the back. It is 120" x 108. I know that is huge but I want to use it for a bedspread that covers the mattress and box spring. I know it will be a job since it is so big but I'll get it done. Also, being it is large I want to just use a thin polyester batting as that won't add as much weight. Wish me luck on this one.

Janome 8900. Took if out of the box, followed directions for Fmg. Perfect, no adjustments, nothing.
I have not tried FMG on my Janome 15000 or Janome HD9 straight stitch. The HD9 has a large industrial bobbin, so I should try Fmg on it.
