I saw an machine that looks like an FW and is the size of one but does not have the flip lid and it comes in a wooden dome case? Need info on this please as i saw it in a antique shop, kinda pushed way back under the table & owner forgot it was there. She also has the FW but wants too much for it.

Sounds like the 99. Also 3/4 head so looks like FW, but weighs significantly more. Great straight stitch just like the FW, only not so light and easy to carry.

It really didn't weight too much more than the fw but i was wondering if these are considered "good"? Couldn't see the model # under the dark area.

Thanks Twilliebee

If it's a 99 it's kind of like a baby 66...
There's also an old 28 that has a shuttle... The 99 is nice (I have one, plus a Spartan which is a 99 without a light), but it's NOT a Featherweight. It is a nice straight stitch machine. |
I do have a 66 model and that thing weighs a TON! I understand that this one (66) is an industrial machine..have used a few times and it sews really nice and came inside of an cabinet, with attachments....still would like to get more info on this little thing..will go back either tomorrow or Thurs and get the serial #. Now it has piqued my interest !!
