I want to make a quilt from the Dr. Seuss story "Oh the Places You'll Go!"

I want to do it about 38 x 50....I have a drawing made this big...now I am not sure what would be the best method...(fusible) applique, machine piece, hand piece...I am not worried about the lettering...but the actual background...and swirls...or whatever they are...

Any ideas?

Wow, that will be challenging! I think I would go with fusible. Start with the bottom color and then overlap the next color arc just a tiny bit.

Any chance you could find some swirlly fabric and use that? I think I would look on line and see if I could find some.

Dr. Seuss fabrics do exist but nothing like this...

your word program has a great little feature my daughter showed me...Its called Word Art. It makes the wording as big as you need. Also if you have access to a projector..It will help. =)

Love your inspiration. Use fusible.

I would do the applique with fusible.

I think I would applique this one too. But with all of the layers, I am not sure I would use fusible as it could get rather stiff even with the lightest weight fusible. Maybe a form of finished edged applique instead, either hand or machine stitched :D:D:D
