I have started to call mine The Studio, but sometimes refer back to calling it The Front Room which it was for years. Calling it The Studio is a bit of a stretch when I see pictures of others' studios on this forum. Mostly it's "This mess is a studio."

My sewing rooms are in the basement. One room is mainly fabrics, cutting and design wall. The other room is where I keep all the machines so I called that one my "Toy Room". Got some children's wooden blocks, painted them in various colors and screwed them to a placque to hang above the doorway.

I have the "sewing room" and my other sewing room is called the "Annex".

It use to be called "Fortress of Solitude". I pretty much had the place to myself. But since I've had others come and share my space, I'm thinking I need to change the name.

THAT depends entirely on its state of disarray. At the moment it's the disaster room.
