The snake pit aka my studio

Mine is the "Rat Trap". When we built the house, there is a wedge-shaped room so the garage sits on the lot properly. The wider part is the laundry area with washer and dryer, ironing board on one wall and the sewing table at the back where the room is narrower. This resembles the old fashioned rat traps that were cone shaped - the rat could enter but couldn't get back out. ;-)

I have about a third of our cellar for my sewing area. My husband calls it Barbie-land (since my name is Barbara)

I just call it my study. That's where all my books are too.

I call mine the black hole too!:)

I used to call mine my Sewing Room, but changed it some time ago to my Studio.

I really do not have a name for my sewing room, but my wife calls it "The Kitchen Table". LOL.

Sewing room,I've tried to call it my studio but sounds so formal to me since I'm a country girl at heart. Still in a mess. I said last year I was going to get all books&fabric up off the floor but I believe there is more now.. Oh well I'll try for next year!! lol
