when it's wide enough, applique the sides of it to straight borders wide enough to accommodate the curves. nobody needs to know the curves weren't intentional. we sure won't tell. LOL seriously ... i think it would look nifty if you did that. |

Whatever you decide to do, just know that I love your attitude!!

I like it. I would try to figure out how to build around the curve.

Interesting dilemma. Perhaps it could be a piece to challenge yourself to design something with it as a beginning section. Or, you could 'punt' and start over. But, it would be good to figure out the reason for the curvature. Sometimes it is a cutting problem like being off-grain. Other times it is the stitching like stitching everything in the same direction.

I know the answer starts with tear it apart, but right now I'm going to grab a beer, go mow the lawn and look at the tulips after I finish laughing.
If it is already sewn to the black, that needs to go. At least the "long" side. Then proceed as above. |
Good luck. It will be awesome when done

if it's 3 strips of black then seam rip one side flip it and that should straighten it out. I might be missing. As far as the beer goes, hope you had a couple I would!!
