What Patterns are Good for Jelly Roll Cuts?

I have three Moda "Snow Days" jelly rolls and two charm packs of the same series. What patterns besides the long strips might look good using these? I have made a big quilt with the "Hidden Wells" pattern with four small jelly rolls before. That went together fast and made a nice quilt too.

Maybe you can suggest some links to patterns that use the 2 1/2" strips. This is to be for my oldest grandson and his wife since he was just pronounced cancer free this week.

Thanks for helping me this way.

I really like this one from Moda and am starting it soon.

The Moda Snow Days may be seen here: (http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/Item...w-Day--srcin-1).

Maybe just seeing the colors will inspire someone to help me find a good pattern.

I like jelly rolls for Irish Chains.

Why not make a log cabin block that looks like this?

Use the charm pack for the middle and the jelly rolls pieced around it.
The fabric is beautiful so I would keep the pattern fairly simple to showcase the fabric.

I think those colors would look wonderful in the rail fence design.

I really like Irish Chains too, but my "cutting days" are limited because of bad hands. That is why I spent the money for jelly rolls. While we were home to get visas this month, I helped my daughter and granddaughter make a Triple Irish Chain for one of the other granddaughters, and it was definitely not easy to keep the blocks the same size. Of course we were using 1.5" blocks and that about doubled our chances that the points would not match. You have no idea how many times we had to pick out whole rows and re-stitch them!

I could bite the bullet and make a double Irish Chain and use the strips as they are. Then the blocks in the middle could be the charm pack squares or white either one. Hmmmm... Something to consider.

I notice you have a cute Rail Fence as your avatar. The Rail Fence is such an easy pattern to sew and it is pretty too.
