What in Portland?
Hi everybody!
Very unexpectedly I am going to Portland for fun. Will be there 15-17 November. Found online a few quilting attractions but have no idea what to choose. Please, if you have any must see places in that area (quilt related or even not :), let me know. The Grotto, Powell books and the waterfalls on 84 are in my plans for now. Any thoughts? |
Fabric Depot is in Portland.

Washington Park Zoo, the Japanese gardens and the Rose Gardens. OMSI! And, Saturday Market. Water front park. The list is endless, Portland is a great activity center ( assuming you mean Portland, Oregon-- if you mean Portland Maine it's a totally different place)

Pittock Mansion
Chinese garden Dinner cruise |
I have no clue but wish I was going also.

Oh, Powell's Books -- used to be my favorite hangout! (Still shop there online.)

Salt & Straw (ice cream).
Fabric Depot. Would you like a list of local quilt shops to visit? What area of Portland will you be staying in? |
Fabric Depot is a must if you're looking for fabric stores.
