What is price of jenneys quilting book?

What are you being charged for jenney's quilting book? I live in mass. And they charged my paypal $ 21.95
I think that is a little steep. I think that I will be canceling my subscription .

I am sorry but I don't know what book you mean

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 06-19-2014 08:07 AM

If you mean the Block magazine, according to their website it is $5.99 per issue. Maybe you were charged for a full subscription. Make a quick phone call. They have great customer service.

lizzyq 06-19-2014 09:50 AM

It must be an error. I live in MA too, and the charge was nowhere near that amount.

brod71 06-19-2014 10:56 AM

The Block magazine is $5.99

nativetexan 06-19-2014 01:28 PM

is it a book? or magazine subscription? they only do the mag every two months. check again.

katydidkg 06-19-2014 02:28 PM

I live in PA, am charged $5.99. They send me an email when they charge my cr card.

evelyn5269 06-19-2014 03:15 PM

I pay $5.99 every other month. Only 6 issues a year. Have you received it? Maybe you ordered a different book in error. Can you check paypal and veryify the order. Or go to your account on MSQC and look at your order history. They will definitely fix their mistake.

sewwhat85 06-19-2014 04:00 PM

I believe there is an option to pay for the whole year or just by the issue

Onebyone 06-19-2014 05:23 PM

Never no more then $5.99 every other month for me too. Apparently something was clicked too many times on the wrong thing. :p

Call them. They have wonderful customer service and they will make it right.

Geri B 06-20-2014 04:30 AM

Whatever happened with the overcharge?

labtechkty 06-20-2014 04:55 AM

5.99 here in Florida..

sewwhat85 06-20-2014 05:23 AM

I checked out the web site and there is an option to pay by the year or issue

misseva 06-20-2014 07:22 AM

BLOCK is $5.99 if you subscribe to it. If you just order one copy you have to pay for postage if I understand things correctly.

linda faye 06-20-2014 09:28 AM

MSQC will certainly be glad to help you. I pay $5.99 for each issue by subscription and can either cancel at any time or put the subscription on hold if I want to skip some issues.

sewbizgirl 06-20-2014 02:38 PM

It's only $5.99 per issue, no shipping charge. A super bargain! Call them and ask them what you were charged for. They are the only ones who can straighten it out for you.

BettyGee 06-21-2014 07:38 AM

The magazine is $5.99 so I'd question the charge for sure. The magazine is, by the way, one of the best out there. MSQ has one of the finest customer service departments anywhere, give them a call.

I just attended the International Quilt Show in Rosemont, Illinois, and was thrilled to find Jenny Doan's, her husband and one grandchild there. Jenny was signing her magazines and selling different templates. I signed up to get the magazine for a year and it went through without a problem. Yes it really is a book but to save on postage it is called a magazine. Jenny was so sweet and common. I told her husband and her how I had used the large template to make blocks for 9 quilts for the quilts of valor and they were so happy to hear this. The guild I belong to made 22 quilt tops in one day and they were given to veterans. Her husband, Jenny, and her granddaughter were wonderful. Love seeing them. They are just common people.

You are so right! I went with some friends to MSQC in Hamilton, MO last Tues with friends--a 2 hr one way road trip for us. What a wonderful way to spend the day with quilting friends and we met Jenny in her studio--she was so friendly and acted like we'd known her for some time. And ALL the staff, in all 4 MSQC stores were that way too. If you can go to Hamilton, go!

Could the extra be postage? Living in UK I didn't buy as the postage is toooooooo much. Am I right in thinking it will. Or is going to pdf format?
