Oh dear! I wish I would have a nice orderly list of ones I want to do this year. I do have three BOM kits I want to work with and one that is a bom garden quilt, I started three years ago I want to finish. I pulled out a dresden plate one from the ufo's and I am trying to at least get it to the finished top stage this week.
I have four charity tops to quilt before may of this year I should work on soon. But the one that has me excited is a black and white montery medallion quilt I have all the fabrics purchased for and the pattern bought. Just waiting on the arrival through the mail of the pattern. I want to at least put one of the halloween block swap quilts together for this year. Beyond that I don't know what will slip into the list. Sometimes I just like to be spontaneous and work of something unexpected, ya know what I mean? Maybe a tote or place mats. Oh yeah, my tea leaves pattern I haven't tried yet for place mats. It is paper piecing and I found I do like it after all. |
I'm still waiting to get the guts to make the quilt in Dunster's avatar. I think it's been two years since I've purchased her pattern. I think it's STUNNING!!!!!!!!! Need to have Dunster over my shoulder 24/7 for me to feel confident enough to attempt. I still am looking for the right colors to make it in, also. IF I EVER actually do get around to making it, I will be so fortunate.
