Unfortunately I don't. I will continue to look for the magazine with the pattern. I don't generally throw anything away, so I feel sure that it is here somewhere. Does that say anything about my housekeeping?

the machine I use the most is a JANOME 9000 I bought it used from a sewing machine dealer, a lot of times you can get a very nice used machine because someone else wanted to trade for the newest, and a sewing machine dealer will have the best selection, plus they will probably service it before they sell it. I would be sure and ask them to do that.

does anyone use a babylock? the fabric store closest to me only sells that brand.

I have a babylock serger and I've been very pleased with it, much more so than the Singer.

Don't know if you meant mine or not. The pattern is Tilted Squares and it's a paper pieced pattern. I don't remember what company made it, but I can check when I get home tonight and post it then.

I sold my Bernina and got a Janome because I prefer the drop in bobbin. The B is also an expensive machine to own. Everything costs. The Janome you can afford to buy accesories for. I have to say, I'm very satisfied with the Janome but wanted something to do fancy sticthes with.
I just bought a Brother for fun and have fallen in love with it. I got it at Walmart because they are so good about returning things. The price is unbelievable for all the things that came in the package. It weighs under 20 Lbs anad has 60 fancy stitches and a drop in bobbin and a extention table etc, etc. Oh ya, also a walking foot! For under $300!!!!!

Oh yes, I really do like your Tilted Squares quilt. :D I'm thinking I might really like paperpiecing, too. Is this too hard to start paper piecing on?
