What should I use

Sometime ago I bought a panel to cut up into a fabric book for my new little granddaughter but I am unsure what I should use as fabric backing - something stiff such as iron on interfacing or something softer such as flannel?

I would be grateful for any input from anyone who has made one.

The book I made panels went back to back with cotton batting between. No stiffness at all.

The pages go back to back and they have directions that should be included right on the panel. I use a thin flat batting between the pages. I did The Poky Little Puppy and Tiny Tailor a counting book. I even wrote the story in for The Poky Little Puppy.

I would use something like Warm & Natural, between the pages.

I have used Warm and Natural, or flannel for batting or a very light weight iron on fleece on each page - it depends how firm you want the book to be, or if you intend to do any stitching on the individual pages.

Thank you for your input. I will go with the softer finish.
