What are some good embroidery design sites??

I hope this is the correct place to ask this question.

I've been using Embroidery Library and iBroidery for designs but they don't always have what I'm looking for. I would appreciate suggestions on other sites you have used and like. I'm leary of trying just any site that comes up in a search. Some are not what they seem. TIA.

Wilferg on this site just recently turned me on to Urban Threads - if you're looking for stuff that's a little off-beat that's a GREAT site for embroidery designs. Very reasonably priced, too. I've bought a set of designs I intend to use for a Christmas gift for my sister, but I haven't stitched them out yet. Plus more that I just liked, for myself. :)

I've also bought from EmbroideryDesigns.com - they're a little expensive, it seems to me, but they have tons of designs and so far the ones I've used have stitched out nicely. They also have free embroidery designs you can download.

Most embroidery sites will have a free design. This is so you can test out how good their digitizing is.
As many site specialize in certain design types, if you can tell us what kind of designs you are looking for, we can probably direct you better (kids, redwork, applique, sophisticated etc.) A couple of my favorite sites are:
http://www.bfc-creations.com/
https://kreationsbykara.com/collecti...ess-treasures/ (she has some weird Halloween stuff on her home page today, but most designs are very elegant)

Thanks for your help. I don't really have anything in particular in mind for designs. I'm not into redwork though. It's one of those things that you know you want something for a project and nothing seems to be exactly what you're looking for.

These in addition to those listed previously. I have found embroidery designs are an addiction...something like fabric and I have too much fabric and too many designs...AND I love both. So much fun to piece quilt tops, embroidery blocks and the list goes on and on!

Also Oregon Patch Works. It doesn't sound like embroidery designs but it is. It is a mall set up, several different designers sell through them. They have a lot of differnet type designs.

While my favorite is EmbLibrary, I have also found some nice designs at designsbysick.com; I also like Pamela's Embroidery and Sonia Showalter Designs.
