Last year a coworker's wife past away . and was a quilter. He told me that he wanted me to have some of her stuff. But he never got around to giving it to me until today. A truck load. I'll take pictures tomorow. Will make two quilts for his GD and GS. And one for him.

Can't wait to see what you get!
Gonna be like Christmas!
So glad he found someone like you who will appreciate those things. It's sad when people give things away to those that just care less. At least he knows you will take care and use what is given.

Oh, that is so nice!! I always tell a knitter friend of mine if anything ever happens to me, she can have my yarn stash. Glad to see it will go to good use.

What a lovely gift to receive....they must have known how much you would treasure her things...I think the idea of making them quilts is just a perfect thank you. Look forward to seeing the pics.

From one quilter to another.........how nice it must be for him to know that his wife's things will be treasured. He has lived with her and knows the value quilters place on their things, so knows what he is giving you. It sounds like you are graciously accepting, and those quilts will have real special meaning.

That is such a wonderful thing for him to give to you! You deserve it and will make her proud of what you do with her things. Only quilters appreciate other quilters things!

Bless you!
