What are these blocks

I was just sorting through my stash. Found about 40 of these blocks. They are four patches in a square. Have no idea how they are supposed to go together in a quilt. Don't remember even making them. There's more cut & ready to be sewn. Any ideas how they fit together in a quilt. They are scrappy, must have seen it on this site. My search turned up nothing as when I type in a search all I'm getting is the latest listings.

You most likely just keep sewing them together. Once you get enough 4 patches to make the size of quilt you want, you can put them on your design wall, or just start sewing them together. You can sew enough for a whole row, or sew them into bigger 4 patches (which would be 16 patches), ....

Not sure I have a 'picture' of what you mean.
Are all the blocks JUST 4 patches?
Or are they a larger square that contains two 4-patches and 2 plain squares?

The second one might look like this when finished.

What size are they? If big enough I would use them for a D4P. If small, I would go to www.quiltville.com and check out Bonnie's free tutorial patterns to find a quilt with 4 patches.

Do you mean similar to a square in a square only the inside "square" is actually a 4 patch? http://www.lynbrown.com/2012-doll-quiltstable-toppers/

That is so neat, thimblebug. I just love doll quilts but am not very good at them.

These are controlled and on point, but can be done really scrappy.

I don't know the size of your blocks, but I had 6 inch 4 patch blocks all scrappy and put them on point with one main color. Turned out really cute.

Lots of patterns you could make with them. Scrappies are very pretty.
