My sister and I were just at my dad's this past weekend. My mom has been gone for about 2 1/2 years and this weekend, he finally gave us her "good" jewelry. However, my mom always wore jewelry and had a ton of costume stuff. In addition to the drawer full, the wall necklace hanger, she had one of these cabinets full of costume jewelry. We started digging and looking, but it was too overwhelming.

These are called shoe trees..... used in the shoes to store so the leather was kept in shape....

Those are shoe stretchers. We use to use them all the time when we were kids and we go out in the snow without our snowboots on (I hated those boots, just like rain boots).

Shoe stretchers, also keep the wet shoes from deforming

looks like shoe stretchers to me ??!!! I have some wooden ones ..thats what i was told !!!!

These are "shoe trees" you stick the larger end into the toes of the shoes and the smaller end into the heel. This keeps your shoes in a shape.

Love the cabinet!!!!! I agree with all the others these are shoe stretchers. My grandma had a few of these and also some that resembled these that were used for her snow/rain galoches. (spelling terrible today.)
