I have several different pieces of flannel scraps from making my husband flannel shirts and nightshirts for the winter. I am requesting input as to what type of block pattern would be best to make a scrappy flannel quilt top. All suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks to all who will reply. God Bless. Disapearing 9 patch or 4 patch would be nice.

Here is a baby quilt I made using flannel scraps from making my son pajamas. Nine patch and snowballs.

A scrappy Bears Paw or Log cabin done all in flannels would be so handsome! Or everything cut with one of those tumbler templates.

I've made some charity baby quilts just using squares 6 or 8 inch and sewing them together. Lots of different colors and patterns made a cute quilt.

Thanks to everyone for the input. This has given me some ideas. How would a scrappy pinwheel block be in flannel? Jeanniebelle

I think it would be beautiful. Try a few blocks. What do you have to lose?

I used a log cabin pattern for my flannel quilt. The border was log cabin blocks turned on point. My first flannel one and I won a Blue Ribbon !!!
