Classical on the radio or Willie Nelson, Etta James, Herb Alpert (remember him?), Johnny Cash, and best of all - K.T. Oslin. I love everything she does!
I like older country , and rock from the 70s mostly. Some of the new country too.
I'm pretty eclectic.
Love Pink, James Taylor, Sarah McLaughlin, Queen, and the Doors. Listen to lots of Coldplay, Daughtry, David Cook, and Three Doors Down. Still like 60s girls singing R&B sounding Motown like Aretha, Shirelles and the Supremes. I like Rev Theory too. My godson plays bass for them. I cried when they were on Jimmy Kimmel show. Making a living in music has been his lifelong dream. |
Hey, SunQuilts... I love K.T. Oslin, too. Remember Eighties Ladies? The first time I heard it, I was getting ready to go to school (yep, was a teacher), and the DJ said this was the first time it had been played. I couldn't stop tapping my foot. My lipstick might not have been too sharp that morning. :) I still have the old LP! I wonder what ever happened to her.

Alondra - I don't think K.T. Oslin does any recording these days although she does make some appearances for charities, etc. She had coronary bypass surgery in the 90s and has been fairly quiet since then. 80s Ladies is great - and how about Younger Men? Too many good ones to list!

Mostly I listen to talk radio but if I listen to music, I tune into my son's internet radio station "Heir Wave Radio" which is Southern Gospel.
Wow! I didn't know that! Classy lady, that one! Yes, I remember Younger Men, too. I used to play the CD in the car when we travelled, so got my DD hooked on it, too.
My favorite any time is Kenny G. Elvis when I am FM quilting (has a nice rythym) and 60's and some 70's. Some days classicals are soothing.
Country, Classic Rock, Jazz, some 50's Rock too.
It's definately Classical for me~
