How thoughtful of her to return the quilt to you. Just reminds us how many wonderful people there are out there.

She said she went to anywho.com and looked up my last name and the town/state where I live, since I had that on my label. I have an unusual last name and there is only 1 listed in the phone book (yes we still have a land line). She sent me an email that asked "Are you a quilter?" The rest is the story above.

Wow.That is a sad situation.I feel that she must have downloaded it and it is a blessing that it came back to you.I am sure that there is someone more deserving of it than her if sent did in fact send it to the Goodwill on purpose.

I'm inclined to agree with KathyAire. Just what I was thinking when I read the post above..

The fact that they are in another country for the next 2 years. What did they do with their belongings? Put them in storage?? I ask this because, we had some things in storage and someone broke into it and took some of our things. Could this have been an option? They may not know that it is missing.... Not any help on what to do, but could have happened....

That quilt deserves a loving home so I say Keep It.
