I have a whole bolt of this beautiful batik fabric, but am not sure what to make from it. How would you use it? Links to pattern ideas would be very welcome! (The ruler is a 6-1/2" square for scale.)

I think it would make a great 4 patch posey or a kaleidoscope how ever the flowers are so far apart for that but it would be lovely
I would not cut it up, I would use it as a backing for a batik quilt. Beautiful.:)
OR: fussy cut around those lovely florals and use as a center for another block such as sawtooth star, etc. |
I would fussy cut those marvelous flowers and choose the other colors in the print like the green, yellows and maybe a little of dark purple to surround them with thus bringing out the colors from the print even more.
thats what i was thinking too, i do love the colors!
I saw backing or use it as a boarder depending on how much you have.
I would use it as a backing.
Since the flowers are attached with vertical vines, I would think about using it as a border on a batik quilt.
A backing for a quilt.

drapes
I think I'd save it for when I need a more neutral fabric in something else I was working on.
A really pretty Disappearing 9 Patch would be wonderful!!
i'd use it as a backing. or fussy cut the motif and use them sashed for the whole quilt.
I too would use it for backing and fussy cut the motif and use in some of the big block quilts with maybe a rich brown. Good luck.
I like the idea of fussy cutting the flowers. The blocks would be about 8" finished. So what are your favorite patterns with a block this size - Acadia? BQ? Others??????
I would say GIVE ITS TO ME I LOVE BATIKS,
Definitely backing. It would be a knock out on a quilt using the same colors.
Not sure! Lovely fabric
I would also use this fabric for the back of a beautiful batik quilt! I just couldn't bring myself to fussy cut or cut this fabric up!!
