The colors are really a nice bright pink, photo doesn't do it justice.

Stars! That quilt is so cute and I think anything you do will look great.

Greens and yellows, blues and grays, blue and cream...anything as long as it doesn't have pink or purple! :)

I have 2 DGS & am making them a graduation quilt (1 in 2 yrs, the other in 3 yrs). They are sooo hard to buy, get & sew for - so I went with STARS. Good luck....!!

How about a train - with the different train cars going across the quilt? For other ideas, google 'boy toy coloring pages'. Lots of cute, simple shapes come up that would be easy to applique.

stars are a nice idea. Good for boys and girls.

An I spy is always a safe choice.
Ones my DGS or other boys we know have liked - construction vehicles, Cars, superheroes, hot air balloons, puzzle pieces, dinosaurs, Pokemon, Sponge Bob, cats & dogs, airplanes, sailboats, teddy bears, the playmat panels with roads to play with matchbox cars, zoo animals, Clifford the Big Red Dog (supposed to be a book), cowboys and horses. . . |
