I agree. Mine is books. We are having a yardsale this weekend and most of them will be for sale then.

I bought a long arm that never worked right. That was a big-g-g-g-g-g mistake.

I guess my worst purchase was the accuquilt go baby. I just could not afford to buy the dies for it. So I sold it on Cragslist. I sold my serger there too. I never used either one of these things. My biggest downfall is books, but I usually purchase them here.

I do like the clover thimble, Fons n Porter had the best one I found but of course we can't get those anymore.
Also, comments on the sergers, I have 2 and use them all the time. Wouldn't be without one.

I bought those bicycle clips to hold your quilt roll, that was a waste of money! Better off to puddle the quilt when FM.

Wonderful list of 'reminders' before heading to a show! I don't have anything on my must buy list for Houston, and I know that is dangerous, because then I get excited by everything!!

It was a Janome sewing machine. I forget the model number. It could have been me, or that was just a lemon but I never got along with it and the employees hated it too. We called it a boat anchor. I sold it to someone esle in a deal.

Quilt and embroidery software.The companies change their operating systems very quickly and render the expensive programs useless unless you pay an extra $1500 to upgrade.No one has that sort of money and my belief is that you should be able to use a program at the level you bought it at for as long as you want. Of course this conflicts with the enterprise idea.

Go to Office Max and buy some "Frixion" pens by Pilot! totally awesome. Marks totally disappear when heat is applied and reappear when item is placed in a freezer. I just did a huge double wedding ring quilt. to restore the marks for quilting, I placed the pressed top in the freezer overnight. To remove the marks so I'm certain they're gone, I use "Shout" spray. Works every time. Only caution: I don't use the red pen as the red doesn't completely come out in the first washing. The blue and black pens are fine. Marks come out great.

I purchased a repro table for my Featherweight at a quilt show. When it was delivered the workmanship was terrible! They had put clear finish over top of stain splatters, one of the hinges wouldn't work right, blemishes that looked like dust were in the finish, one of the foot guards fell off. It looked awful! I had to fight with the vendor to get them to take it back and refund my money and I still was messed over for the shipping cost one way. And that was only after I opened a dispute against them with VISA after 6 weeks of trying to negotiate with them on my own! He had the gall to email me that nowhere was it listed as a fine piece of furniture, just a sewing table! So, I would beware of any large purchase that has to be shipped unless it is a known reputable company.

Have seen several comments on the Accuquilt Go!! I absolutely love mine!!! Use it All the time!! Never had a problem!!
