What is your favorite black fabric?
 

In need of a good solid black fabric. Am considering an "Amish Black" one, but would appreciate hearing from others what they've used and been happy with. All replies will be appreciated.

I just bought kona . I am going to make Affairs of the Heart quilt.

Andover also make s a good black.

I like Bella Solids by Moda. It's a bright, rich black.

I use this and Kona black....both are great quality.

Keepsake Quiltings Amish black, love the feel of it and comes out of the dryer looking beautiful!!

Maywood Studios Black Magic - a double-dyed black, so it's very very black.

I buy Kona black by the bolt. Kona snow too

I avoid a totally solid black and navy blue. I made a patriotic quilt with a solid black and it picked up every piece of fuzz known to man. Even after it was bound and washed. It was like velcro. Now I find a tone on tone that reads black but is not solid.
